WordCamp Indonesia 2011

As a web application developer, I use WordPress as the CMS (not the free blog services provided by WordPress.com)  for almost all of my projects related to corporate profile, personal blog, and e-commerce portal. The very first time I met the CMS, my heart fell for it. It is robust, reliable, and totally free. Oh, and most importantly, it’s really great in assuming that you’re a dumb. Because of the fact that I love it so much, I intend to grasp some new knowledge about it. Fortunately, there’s this event called WordCamp Indonesia 2011, for which I spent my last weekend.

Two Cents About Life Philosophy

Some people talk on the phone with their pals while sitting on a bus. Some others close their ears with earphones, listen to some good musics, and then fall asleep, which is, I think, the most effective way of spending time on a trip. People have their own method on killing time on a bus. Mine, are listening to some songs, pertaining my mind in sereneness, and thinking of some things I usually don’t have any chance to think about. Last Sunday, on the way to Cikarang, on the bus seat, my mind wildly wander to something about this life. Well, my life, at least.

Banyak cara yang dipake orang buat spending their lebaran holiday this year. Mulai dari mudik ke kampung selama 1 minggu, sampe dengan tidur2an di jalanan Jakarta rumah karena cuma dapet libur beberapa hari. Gw dan beberapa temen2, ngabisin liburan dengan cara yang beda. Kita menjauh dari kota jakarta yg tetep bising, naik gunung, bercumbu dengan alam, dan menikmati keagunganNya dari dekat, untuk menyadari betapa kecilnya kita di hadapan kebesaranNya (tsssaaaah)…

Dari Lawang Sewu Sampai Seafood Enak

Gw percaya sama quote “kadang kita harus istirahat sejenak untuk berlari lebih kencang”. Atau ada juga yang mengungkapkan makna serupa dengan kisah tentang seorang penebang kayu yang tidak sadar kapaknya menjadi tumpul karena digunakan terus menerus tanpa diasah. Based on those philosophy, gw ambil cuti sejenak dari kantor, lari dari kericuhan ibukota, dan menepi di pedesaan untuk menghirup ketenangan dan kesegaran jiwa dan pikiran. Uoh.

New Place, New Life, New Resolution

Enggak. Gw blom kawin.

New place itu maksudnya gw baru aja pindah kost2an, dan new life itu bukan menempuh hidup baru alias udah kawin, melainkan karena gw pindah tempat, ketampanan gw nambah (ok, ga nyambung).

B.I.P – Sampai Nanti

Dear all fans,

It’s been a really long time since my last posting. Well, some shits happen so I couldn’t have even some spare time to update my blog. Mulai dari thesis, sidang, sampe kerjaan kantor. Anyway, thesis dan sidang gw berjalan lancer, dan gw dinyatakan lulus sebagai B.Sc. Jadilah nama panjang gw sekarang Johanes Berchman Anselmus Sigit Noviandi Amat Ganteng Tampan Brilian Sekali, B.Sc. Uoh. Sungguh indah .

EazyMail 1.0 beta Testing (Final Project)

Hi Mr./Ms.,
I just finished working on my system for the thesis. It is a web based application that helps you to design e-newsletter(email), manage the recipients, tracking the recipients’ activities (clicks, opens, etc), and represents them in the form of reports. However, I need some people to test the application to let me know if any bugs persist. No IT background requirement to use the software, so anyone is cordially welcomed to test it.
